My Story
From 2006 I studied Vocals & Professional Musicianship at BIMM (British & Irish Insitute of Modern Music) for 4 years. In 2008 I started working professionally as a singer - working with various function agencies performing around the country at such venues as Highclere Castle, most notably known as Downton Abby. I have performed a variety of events from weddings & corporate events to performing for the army before they deployed to Iraq. My favourite performance was singing with a choir, the National Anthem for the England Vs Argentina Polo match at the O2 arena, which was filmed for Sky Sports.
I then went on to teach in 2010 for Sussex Academy of Music working with both children and adults. Whilst Teaching I also had my own radio show on Radio Free Brighton which was dedicated to unsigned artists, then later went on to become A&R Co-Ordinator for a start up record label called Create Inspire Records.
Since January 2017 I have been working solely as a Singing Teacher. In that time I was an interim teacher for The Theatre Workshop, teaching singing and songwriting classes with up to 30 students in a class and varying abilities.
I am now Founder & Singing teacher for my own company RRS Singing and am Principal of The Vocal Academy - Worthing. I'm also an interim teacher for BIMM Academy.
My passion is not only music and teaching singing, but also getting the most out of my students for them to reach their full potential and be the best, most confident performers they can be.

I have a DBS & Basic Disclosure Certificate to say that I am able to work with children & people with special needs.

Areas I teach:
Singing, Songwriting, Ear Training & Artist Development. My lessons are tailor-made and differ dependent on what the student would like to achieve.
Singing - Covers warm ups and perfecting songs.
Songwriting - If you're starting out, we will go over how songs are written, different ways of writing songs & if you're a more experienced songwriter, it'll be developing songs you're currently writing.
Ear training - theory based exercises that fine tune pitching as well as give you basic music theory knowledge in relation to singing.
Artist Development - If you're an aspiring artist I will act as mentor and find opportunities for you via my contacts, give you auditions (when sent to me), work on stage presence/performance & audition scenarios.

IN STUDIO:
1 HOUR LESSON = £35.00
45 MINUTES = £30.00
30 MINUTES = £25.00
BLOCK OF X5 1 HOUR LESSONS PACKAGE = £150.00
ONLINE LESSONS:
1 HOUR = £30.00
45 MINUTES = £25.00
30 MINUTES = £20.00
Terms & conditions:
Lessons can be paid either via bank transfer prior to the arranged date or in cash on the day of.
Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior or you will still be charged.
Block lessons: you're entitled to a full refund within 10 days of purchase. Cancellation 48 hours outside of the first lesson is 50% charge of the total paid. Cancellation within 24 hours of the first lesson is 100% charge of the total paid.
